Residenza Carducci is situated on the left bank of the Adige river, near Piazza Isolo and half way between Piazza Erbe and the Giusti Gardens. It is within a 5 minute walk of most of Verona's major monuments and about ten minutes from the Roman Amphitheater. The Verona railroad station is about 10 minutes away by bus and bus stops are quite nearby; the Fair of Verona is reachable in 20 minutes (www.veronafiere.it).

The city of Verona in itself is world-famous and well worth a three day visit. It is also the site of one of the world's foremost summer Opera Seasons in the Arena (www.arena.it). You can also enjoy the many summer theaters and art events (www.estateteatraleveronese.it). Visitors without automobiles will find Verona very centrally located: Peschiera and Lake Garda are 30 minutes distant by train (www.ferroviedellostato.it) or bus (www.aptv.it); Mantua, Vicenza and Trent are just ten minutes more. Venice itself is an hour and ten minutes by train. Visitors with cars can drive to the Valpolicella, Custoza and Soave wine districts, take a day trip around Lake Garda, explore Monte Baldo and the pre-Alpine Lessinia mountains or visit some of the many historic burghs disseminated near Verona (Soave, Sabbioneta, Montagnana, Castellaro Lagusello, Valeggio and many more).
